Mayor de Blasio led New York City in a moment of silence for two slain NYPD officers, with the duo’s somber colleagues simultaneously doffing their hats at the Brooklyn murder scene.

The embattled mayor, after issuing another appeal for unity in the aftermath of the double murder, bowed his head at 2:47 p.m. Tuesday inside City Hall — three days to the minute after the killings, the Daily News reports.
