A Grand Prairie, Texas, police officer suffered non-life threatening injuries when shot while serving a search warrant Thursday night.
Grand Prairie Police Department spokesman Lyle Gensler told WFAA TV, the officer was fired on by a suspect in the 2900 block of Forest Hollow Ln. and grazed by a bullet. Gensler said the officer's bullet-proof vest may have saved their life.
The officer's identity has not been released.
A male suspect was arrested.
