The 36-year-old officer was getting into her car at 5:15 a.m. Thursday when Patrick James, 22, and an unidentified culprit forced her into the back seat, according to police. She managed to slip out of the car and run past another unidentified man, leaving her handbag with her NYPD shield behind. The men grabbed the bag, dumped the car and fled in a stolen yellow taxi.
