Registration Open for NLEOMF Ride & Run Event

Registration remains open for the annual Law Enforcement Ride & Run to Remember event honoring fallen officers that takes place Oct. 12 and 13, according to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF).

Included in the event are 55- and 30-mile bike rides and a 5K run. Participants can register individually or on a team for one or both activities. There is also an option to register as a "virtual participant" to raise money without biking or running in the event.

Each participant is required to raise at least $72 in honor of the law enforcement officer lives lost on Sept. 11, 2001.

Registered riders must be 16 years old and runners must be 12 years old by the date of the event to participate. The register, visit the event's registration page on the NLEOMF website.
