The National Football League will deny entry to any off-duty police officer who brings a concealed carry firearm to any of its facilities, according to a new league policy.

The policy, which went into effect Sept. 11, applies to off-duty officers from federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies, reports the Plain Dealer.

Jeff Follmer, president of the Cleveland Police Patrolman's Association, called the policy disappointing.
