A Florida sheriff's deputy is facing possible termination after she punched her estranged husband's new girlfriend while she say in her patrol car in uniform.

Osceola County Sheriff's Deputy Edeania Nettles, 39, was arrested and suspended last week after allegedly punching St. Cloud Police Officer Jennifer Hoyos, 26, at a park. Deputy Nettles encountered Officer Hoyos with Sgt. Elbert John Nettles at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday at Ted Broda Memorial Park.

After punching her in the face, the off-duty deputy pulled Officer Hoyos from her patrol car. The two women grappled, and Hoyos had a skinned knee, bloody lips, a clump of hair pulled out, and scratches on her neck, reports WFTV.

On Thursday, Hoyos requested a stalking injuction against Nettles, reports the Orlando Sentinel.
