VIDEO: Utah Sovereign Citizen's High-Speed Chase

Utah Highway Patrol troopers arrested a Utah woman after a high-speed pursuit. She identified herself as a sovereign citizen and told troopers they had "no authority to stop her."

Lisa Anne Bluth, 44, gave her name as Lisa Anne Sovereen following the April 24 pursuit on Interstate 15. Troopers initiated the pursuit of Bluth's black Volvo after she sped by a trooper while exceeding 80 mph.

Troopers initiated a pursuit and attempted several times to get Bluth to pull over. At one point in the pursuit, Bluth dodged spike strips. She also called 911 and told dispatchers to get "the trooper get off her back, and then hung up," Cpl. Todd Johnson told KSL.

She also told a dispatcher, "you're all dead" and "the troopers are dead."

Troopers eventually boxed in Bluth's Volvo and pulled her over. She told the troopers, "Don't beat me up," and briefly resisted before being taken into custody.
