Phoenix-area officers demonstrated the strength of the Thin Blue Line on Wednesday, as a large group of uniformed personnel showed up to attend the kindergarten graduation ceremony for the daughter of a fallen officer.
More than 100 Valley officers attended the ceremony for Tatum Raetz, who lost her father Daryl Raetz, a Phoenix police officer, early Sunday when he was struck and killed while investigating a DUI.
"Most of these officers here today were in uniform, but they weren't working, they were here on their own time," Phoenix PD's Sgt. Ben Kartchner told Fox News.
The Phoenix Police Department provided several updates of the event on its Facebook page.
