LAPD Review: Chris Dorner Firing Justified

A lengthy internal review has found no basis for the allegations of racism or bias contained in the manifesto of rogue ex-LAPD officer Chris Dorner.

A civil rights attorney who reviewed the findings, which will be made public at a Los Angeles Police Commission meeting later this month, told the media outlet the lengthy review found no basis for the allegations of racism or bias contained in Dorner's manifesto.

Dorner killed four people, including two officers, during a rampage in February.A massive law enforcement dragnet ended when Dorner killed himself in a mountain cabin following a gunbattle with police.

The LAPD internal review concluded that Dorner had a history of embellishing stories, misperceiving slights, and making bogus complaints against fellow officers.
