A Newmarket (N.H.) Police officer captured a rogue alligator Friday, after a resident reported the reptile climbing up the banks of the Lamprey River.

Officer Wayne Stevens responded to the 8 p.m. call and found the three-foot alligator. With the help of a state Fish and Game conservation officer, Stevens was able to snare the reptile and pull him from the location, reports the Foster's Daily Democrat.
