Wis. Officer Stabbed In Neck, Suspect Arrested

A 25-year-old West Allis man was in custody Wednesday night, suspected in the stabbing of a Capitol police officer at the State Office Building in downtown Milwaukee.

A 25-year-old West Allis man was in custody Wednesday night, suspected in the stabbing of a Capitol police officer at the State Office Building in downtown Milwaukee.

The officer was stabbed in the neck shortly after 1 p.m. when he and another officer responded to an alarm on the fourth floor of the building, 819 N. 6th St.

Police said his injuries were not believed to be life-threatening and he was in stable condition.
