More than 20 federal law enforcement officers have been displaced by Hurricane Sandy, and a foundation representing them is asking for help.
The Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association (FLEOA) is collecting donations for officers who have been struck by Sandy's devastation via their Website.
"Our East Coast federal law enforcement heroes need your help immediately," according to a FLEOA release. "As they render first aid to so many Americans in need, they themselves have been victimized by the Hurricane."
The FLEOA Foundation has activated emergency networks to provide immediate financial assistance to officers in need of food, shelter, and medical care.
