A Plano (Texas) Police officer tucked a $100 bill into a citation, after a motorist with expired tags told him he chose to feed his family rather than pay his vehicle registration fee.

The officer, who has asked to remain anonymous, had pulled over Hayden Carlo, who told him he simply didn't have the money to pay the fee.

"He helped me out when I needed it, and I appreciate that," Carlo told KHOU. I'll never forget the man. It definitely restored my faith in God."
