Police: Colorado Theater Shooting Suspect's Apartment 'Booby Trapped'

After he was arrested at the scene, the suspect in last night’s deadly Aurora, Colo., movie theater shooting reportedly made a statement to police about explosives being in his apartment. Police are now searching his residence with robots and have evacuated the building and five around it.

Police Chief Dan Oates told the Denver Post the explosive devices were "pretty sophisticated."

The 24-year-old suspect in the shooting that left at least 12 people dead and 38 wounded was arrested in the movie theater parking lot still wearing a gas mask and ballistic vest. He has been identified as James Holmes, 24.
