A New York City police officer working in the Bronx has sued the department, claiming the 42nd Precinct is ruled by an overzealous quota system that punishes officers.

In a federal lawsuit, Officer Craig Matthews claims officers who meet quotas have their lockers damaged by fellow cops. Color-coded reports categorize cops by the number of arrests, summonses and stop-and-frisks they carry out. Black marks officers who meet the quotes, while red and silver respectively mark officers who don't meet quotas or meet some of the quotas, reports the New York Daily News.
