CHP Officer Pleads Not Guilty of Illegal Cache

A California Highway Patrol officer, charged with having a cache of illegal guns, explosives, drugs, and stolen drivers' licenses at his Anderson area home, pleaded not guilty on Monday in Shasta County Superior Court.

A California Highway Patrol officer, charged with having a cache of illegal guns, explosives, drugs, and stolen drivers' licenses at his Anderson area home, pleaded not guilty on Monday in Shasta County Superior Court.

Gerald "Gary" Roland Harris, 45, faces 13 felony counts and one misdemeanor. His Redding attorney, Joe Gazzigli, said after the arraignment he's confident his client is innocent.
