Fla. Cop Saves Apartment Residents In Arson Fire

A Clearwater (Fla.) Police officer entered a burning apartment complex this morning, helping residents exit the building before firefighters were able to get the fire under control.

A Clearwater (Fla.) Police officer entered a burning apartment complex this morning, helping residents exit the building before firefighters were able to get the fire under control.

Officer William Nahorodny was the first on the scene and entered the burning building to evacuate residents. Police said he kicked in at least two doors and assisted some people in getting out, reports the St. Petersburg Times.

Investigators believe the fire was deliberately set.
