Improved Bersa Thunder High Capacity (HC) Pro Series pistols chambered in 9mm and .40 S&W will be introduced at SHOT Show 2012, importer Eagle Imports, Inc. has announced.

The popular Thunder HC Pro pistols are available with higher-capacity magazines that accommodate 17 (for the 9mm) or 13 rounds (for the .40-caliber). The pistols have been upgraded and now offer more features designed to provide better performance, according to the company.

The Thunder series features an improved Browning Petter locking system for reliable feeding and case ejection. Each pistol has ambidextrous features to accommodate right- or left-handed shooters, such as the safety, slide and magazine release. Combat features include a skeletonized hammer and the three-dot sight system.

The frame is machined from a lightweight alloy with an integral Picatinny rail for the addition of tactical lights and lasers.
