Philly Implements Curfew to Curb Flash Mob Violence

In recent weeks, there have been several assaults by teens on city residents, CNN reports. These attacks, or "flash mobs," are organized via e-mail and social media Websites.

Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter has signed an order reducing curfews to 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays for minors, as an attempt to curtail the "flash mob" attacks that have plagued the city.

In addition to the curfew change, the city will also expand recreation center hours.
