Colo. Officer Charged In DUI Joyride Retires

The impaired Aurora (Colo.) Police Department officer who was arrested driving his patrol car with another officer to a police funeral in South Dakota has resigned and retired.

The impaired Aurora (Colo.) Police Department officer who was arrested driving his patrol car with another officer to a police funeral in South Dakota has resigned and retired.

Officer Bradley Bickett and Gerald Kirby were pulled over near Torrington, Wyo., by a Goshen County Sheriff's deputy. Officer Kirby was tossing beer cans out of the cruiser's window.

The officers were on their way to the memorial service in Rapid City, S.D., for an officer who was killed in the line of duty.
