The "suspicious" activity of passengers on two Sunday flights heading to D.C. and Detroit brought bomb squads, police response, and the scrambling of fighter jets on the 10-year anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

In the first incident, two fighter jets escorted Flight 34 from Los Angeles to JFK after pilots became spooked about the frequent use of restrooms by several passengers.

A pair of fighters also escorted a Frontier Air flight from Denver to Detroit after flight personnel noticed two people acting suspiciously. It turned out the two were "making out" in the bathroom.
