An intoxicated Oregon man hoping to score casino chips instead got a ride to a detox cell, after he asked officers at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for the chips.

An intoxicated Oregon man hoping to score casino chips instead got a ride to a detox cell, after he asked officers at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for the chips.

The 21-year-old man wandered into the station Sept. 17, following a college football game. The Nebraska Cornhuskers beat the Washington Huskies that day 51-38.

After he was arrested, the man blew a .273 on a Breathalyzer test.
