Burlington (Mass.) Police officials questioned the safety of a samurai sword-style umbrella, after SWAT officers cleared the Burlington Mall when a shopper called 911 to report it as a rifle.

"We live in a free country, and you can't regulate everything, but common sense should tell you something that can easily be mistaken for a weapon shouldn't be sold - and people shouldn't buy it," Burlington PD's Lt. Glen Mills tells the Boston Herald.
