Several of the four men arrested by the Las Vegas Metro Police Department in the past week for posing as officers had acquired police gear, and the agency is warning civilians to remain vigilant.

The department's Sgt. John Sheahan says it's getting easier for civilians to purchase police gear via catalogues that ship directly to homes, eBay, Craigslist or other online venues.
