N.Y. Deputy Killed In Collision Near Pa. Border

Chemung County Sheriff's Deputy Jeffrey Alexander, 26, and a 77-year-old driver were killed in a head-on collision shortly before noon on Sunday.

A New York sheriff's deputy was killed in a collision near the Pennsylvania border along State Route 427 on Sunday.

Chemung County Sheriff's Deputy Jeffrey Alexander, 26, and a 77-year-old driver were killed in a head-on collision shortly before noon on Sunday.

Deputy Alexander has been a member of the sheriff's office since 2006 and is survived by his mother, father and fiancée.
