CryWolf's Smartphone App Assists Officers In Alarm Response

When responding to alarm calls, law enforcement personnel need quick access to alarm system and occupant information. Instead of contacting dispatch or the alarm companies for the information, officers can access the CryWolf alarm management database directly from their smartphone.

Public Safety Corp. (PSC) has unveiled the CryWolf smartphone application for Android to help officers respond to alarm calls more effectively.

When responding to alarm calls, law enforcement personnel need quick access to alarm system and occupant information. Instead of contacting dispatch or the alarm companies for the information, officers can access the CryWolf alarm management database directly from their smartphone.

Officers quickly receive alarm account status, occupant information, and special conditions of the alarm location sent directly to their Android-based phone based on the GPS position of the officer or by the address entered.  Having this accurate information immediately available to officers saves time, supports officer safety, and increases the efficiency of responding to alarm calls.

CryWolf is a false alarm management solution that greatly reduces the time and effort required to process false alarms for jurisdictions of all sizes. CryWolf technology can be implemented in one of several ways — purchase CryWolf to be installed and operated by department personnel, outsource with CryWolf to fully administer the false alarm program, or subscribe to CryWolf On-Demand, a Web-based subscription service.
