BlackHawk Offers Fire and Rescue Axes

BlackHawk offers Dynamic Entry 9-11 Series Rescue Axes, the Super Pulaski Tool and the Single Bit Axe for fire and rescue personnel in demanding situations.

Dynamic Entry (DE) Fire and Rescue Axes by BlackHawk have been designed to fulfill the requirements of fire and rescue personnel in demanding situations. BlackHawk offers DE 9-11 Series Rescue Axes as well as the DE Super Pulaski Tool and the Single Bit Axe.

BlackHawk's DE 9-11 Series Rescue Axes are constructed with an electrically non-conductive advanced polymer handle system combined with a drop-forged heat-treated carbon steel head to meet the demands of the fire fighting and rescue community. BlackHawk's DE 9-11 Series includes three types of axes, each 37 inches in length. The 6 LB Pike Axe weighs eight pounds and the 8 LB Pike Axe weighs 10 pounds. The 6 LB Flat Axe weighs 7.9 pounds. All of the DE 9-11 Series Rescue Axes are offered with high visibility red or yellow handles.

The Dynamic Entry Super Pulaski Tool has been redesigned with an expanded grubbing end. It is constructed from a solid piece of drop-forged, high-carbon steel for greater strength and durability. A yellow polypropylene jacketed fiberglass handle reduces the impact stress while remaining balanced. The tool weighs seven and a half pounds and is 34.25 inches long. The cutting hoe edge is five inches and the axe edge is 4.5 inches.

The Single Bit Axe is a precision axe designed to benefit rescuers in cramped or close quarters. Its total length is 22.5 inches, including the 19.5 inch yellow fiberglass handle and a 4 inch cutting edge. The axe weighs 2.25 pounds.
