Woolrich Honors Wounded Warriors With Freedom Throw Blankets

The presentation of the blankets is held in conjunction with the Wounded Warrior marches that take place every four to six weeks at the Pentagon.

Woolrich Elite Series Tactical has launched a year-long initiative designed to honor Wounded Warriors who served in Iraq by presenting them with a Freedom Throw blanket.

The presentation of the blankets is held in conjunction with the Wounded Warrior marches that take place every four to six weeks at the Pentagon. The marches honor up to 40 servicemen and women who have returned from combat in Iraq and are being treated for their injuries at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center (WRAMC) and Bethesda Naval Hospital.

On July 16, longtime Woolrich employee Ron Yeaton, a decorated Vietnam veteran, presented Freedom Throw blankets to the retuning soldiers. The presentation was held at the Mologne House, which is located on the WRAMC campus.

Woolrich will send a representative to pass out the blankets after each of the Pentagon marches taking place over the next year.
