DEA Impersonator Pulls Over NY Detective

A Long Island man posing as a federal agent and carrying a replica Drug Enforcement Administration badge was arrested, after he pulled over a Suffolk County police officer.

A Long Island man posing as a federal agent and carrying a replica Drug Enforcement Administration badge was arrested, after he pulled over a Suffolk County police officer, the New York Post reports.

Victor Alfaro-Marquez, 35, of Selden, who runs an import-export business, allegedly pulled up behind Detective William Zambito Monday at 4:30 a.m. in a Mercedes SUV, flipped on red and blue lights on his dashboard and flashed his headlights, according to the report.

Police arrested Alfaro-Marquez later at his home.
