A 47-year-old Compton, Calif., woman has been arrested at a border checkpoint near San Diego while attempting to enter the country with an illegal immigrant stuffed in a duffel bag in her SUV, the Los Angeles Times reports.

The woman, a U.S. citizen, has been arrested for attempting to smuggle the 39-year-old Mexican national across the border.
