Gamber-Johnson, a manufacturer of rugged docking stations and vehicle mounting solutions, has released a the NotePad V Universal Computer Cradle, a rugged mounting cradle for most of currently available computers.

"When the new NotePad V was designed, we kept five crucial areas of importance in mind—security, function, safety, aesthetics and installation," notes Tom O'Brien, a Gamber-Johnson product manager. "Using each of the five crucial areas as guidelines, we were able to improve upon our current NotePad IV cradle design."

Gamber-Johnson improved the NotePad IV to better meet the demands of the mobile environment and keep a computer in place.

Gamber-Johnson first introduced its NotePad product line in 1995. In the last 13 years, Gamber-Johnson has produced more than 72,000 cradles.
