California Deputy Resuscitates 17-Day-Old Infant

Two deputies, Rick Chaeff and Mike Laddy, were at a coffee shop on Monday when a woman entered and told them her granddaughter wasn't breathing. Chaeff was able to force air into the infant's lungs on the fourth try, and the infant started breathing.

The quick action of a Santa Clara (Calif.) County Sheriff's deputy is credited with saving the life of a newborn who was just 17 days old, SFGate.com reports.
