Police Arrest Rapist, Find Six Decomposed Bodies In Cleveland Home

Cleveland police officers arrested a convicted rapist, and found six decomposed bodies in his home that are likely the women he strangled, The Plain Dealer reports.

A neighbor of Anthony Sowell, 50, also has told the New York Times that police knew about Sowell's violent tendencies and didn't do enough to stop his violent crimes.

Because several of the victims' bodies were so badly decomposed, an expert from the Cleveland Museum of Natural History was called in to determine when the women were killed.

Police records show several reports filed by women in 2008 and 2009 about attacks by Sowell on them at the house.
