A national manhunt is now underway for Paul Merhige, a Thanksgiving Day dinner guest who allegedly killed four relatives with a handgun.

The U.S. Marshals Service has released a detailed description of Merhige, including results of an ongoing investigation revealing that he "had a history of mental problems and had a strong resentment toward several family members."

On Nov. 26, Merhige left a Thanksgiving Day party at a relative's home in Jupiter, Fla., and returned with a handgun. During the ensuing gunfire, he allegedly killed sisters Carla Merhige and Lisa Knight (who was pregnant), aunt Raymonde Joseph, and 6-year-old cousin Makayla Sitton.

Merhige immediately fled the scene in his 2007 blue four-door Toyota Camry 4-door, bearing Florida license plate #W427JT, according to the marshals.

One fan of POLICE Magazine's Facebook page posted a description of Merhige, mentioned a connection to the Detroit area and urged other LEOs to contact Jupiter police.
