Florida Recruit's Heart 'Just Gave Out On Him'

The family of the Holly Hill (Fla.) Police Department recruit who died after taking agency's the physical endurance test has said Robert Williams' heart "just gave out on him," the News-Journal reports.

Williams, who had left his masters program in psychology, had completed his coursework at the Daytona State College police academy. Williams collapsed, after completing the agency's pre-employment agility test.

The last leg of the testing required Williams to get into a patrol car and place his hands on the wheel to signify he completed testing.
