LAPD Division Will Begin Using Patrol Car Video In April

A San Fernando city councilman has asked for additional tests to ensure the cameras work in low-light conditions and that image quality won't be affected by new LED streetlights installed in that section of Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Police Department's South Division will begin using patrol car video systems in April, as the department continues testing the systems to ensure they don't interfere with officers' work, according to the Los Angeles Daily News.
