An Eden Prairie man has been charged with allegedly leaving threatening notes with drawings of airplanes and references to 9/11 on three days in a Hennepin County library. When interviewed by police, Abdulahi Hassan Farah told officers that the United States was attacked by terrorists before and will be attacked again, according to the criminal complaint.
Farah, 29, was charged Monday in Hennepin County District Court with making terroristic threats, a felony. He was being held in the county jail in lieu of $30,000 bail and was to appear in court this afternoon, according to jail records.
Eden Prairie police went to the library on Wednesday, after a man on his way out handed a note to a worker at the service desk.
