Detective Ebrahim Ashabi Announced as a Keynote Speaker at TREXPO West

Det. Ebrahim Ashabi, 11-year veteran of the Long Beach (Calif.) Police Department where he is presently working in the Office of Counter Terrorism, has been slated as a keynote speaker at TREXPO West 2009. His presentation, "A Brief History of Radical Islam", will take place Wednesday, April 1st from 0800 to 1100 hours.

Det. Ebrahim Ashabi, 11-year veteran of the Long Beach (Calif.) Police Department where he is presently working in the Office of Counter Terrorism, has been slated as a keynote speaker at TREXPO West 2009. In LBPD's Office of Counter Terrorism, Ashabi is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and investigating criminal intelligence related to international and domestic terrorism, organized crime, and extremist activities. He also assists in investigations with other local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration from the University of La Verne and is currently working on his Masters degree at California State University, Long Beach.
