CBS to Air Story of Last Survivor Pulled From WTC Rubble

CBS will broadcast “Last Man Out” on its Wednesday edition of 60 Minutes at 8:00 p.m. The segment tells the story of Sgt. John McLoughlin of the New York/New Jersey Port Authority Police Department, the last man pulled alive from the World Trade Center after the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.

McLoughlin, who was promoted to lieutenant before retiring this year, revisits Ground Zero and discusses his experience, which included being pulled from the rubble after almost 24 hours by fellow officers who are still on the PAPD.
