"Technology Center to Support Law Enforcement"

Local and regional law enforcement agencies will get assistance gathering and analyzing evidence from the Savannah River Technology Center (SRTC), according to the National Institute of Justice. The applied research and development lab at SRTC will provide law enforcement officers with tools available through the U.S. Department of Justice National Law Enforcement and Corrections Technology Center.

SRTC personnel will be used to analyze and gather evidence for law enforcement agencies, which would also have access to SRTC's underwater robot that can search lakes, rivers, and streams.

For more information on the Savannah River Technology Center, contact Todd Coleman at (803) 725-3398.
