"There's No Mystery in the Success of Forensics Conference"

This year's International Association for Identification's educational conference, recently held in Charleston, S.C., was not only successful in educating more than 1,000 people from 23 countries on the year's latest updates in crime-solving technology, but also identified the prints of a rapist and discovered the identity of a Canadian bank robber.

According to the educational planner for the conference, Curt Shane, many states do not have updated equipment, and the conference provides them with a chance to see what is on the market.

A conference in Miami will be held next year in follow-up to this year's success.
