Juvenile Sex Offender Report Released

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A new report from the Justice Department’s Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) reviews research on juveniles who commit sex offenses and spotlights comparisons between these offenders and youth who commit other delinquent offenses.

Juveniles Who Have Sexually Offended describes the best methods to assess individual juvenile sex offenders in order to provide the most suitable form of treatment and offers suggestions for evaluating the effectiveness of juvenile sex offender treatment programs.
