Thats why you carry a backup gun.Departments who do not allow their officers to carry backups are going to run into situations like this. I myself carry a Glock 19 9mm loaded with 127gr. Winchester Ranger JHP and my backup in a vest holster is a Glock 26 9mm loaded the same. My G26 can use the same mags a my G19 in the event I lose my duty weapon like this officer did and I use up the 10 rounds in the G26 I can go to my magazine pouch for another mag.

Agreed, always carry a backup gun, I also have multiple tactical knives that I can quickly deploy. Plus I have A LOT of keepers, and double wide ones around my gun !!! one or two keepers like i see some wear does not cut it.

Also always wear your vest, at least lvl 3, I also wear trauma plates(soft) .

WOW..that was exciting but scarry I am sorry I don't mean that it was exciting to see an officer get attached, If I had been that lady in the she should have gotten out and jumped that Guy..I am sorry that you officers take chances when you answer a call...I wish I could I wish you all the best on each call.
