Did you hear tyne "know ity all dumb citizen" who was filming this? Didn't know anything about the reason why the suspect was stopped, just saw the last part when the PD caught up to him, and of course its the mean cop that is to blame, we should have tasked her!!

Excellent video for my presentation on non-representative (biased) sampling in statistics. The viewer sees a partial sampling (LEO chasing and tasering a Perp). What led up to it was not known by the photographer. Only the tasering was known plus the self-serving wailings of the Perp loudly claiming "I didn't do anything." Voila! Video proof of police brutality! Throw in the myth that "seeing is believing" and we have a perfect setting for stage magicians. The "allegedly fled" part of the descriptive is hard to take when the video shows Beau Hawkes FLEEING in fact. To be consistent, perhaps we should report that Hawkes was"allegedly" alive, "allegedly" a male and "allegedly" a mayoral candidate, as well as "allegedly" driving without a license. Then the LEO "allegedly" had to taser him.

I hope the idiot peed his shorts. If you aren't resisting why run away from the officer. He took one hell of a nose dive with the charge from the taser. I guess he won't get elected Mayor of Maui on this one. I wouldn't elect him to dog catcher. Driving without a license naughty mayoral candidate.
