This is a fine example of the #1 reason I personally don't like tasers. Officers have become so dependent on them that they don't know what to do when they don't work. Pretty sad.

Really? @ 4/5/2013 6:36 AM

What about using rubber bullets? Or am I thinking wrong?

Why do we wait until this guys controls the police. Tackle this guy from the beginning and go hands on. What, are we now scared of the bad guy? OMG poor piss training.

When we change "defensive tactics" back to arrest and control tactics the pussification of law enforcement will cease to exist. A perfect example of either BAD training or BAD hiring practices!

Never used Tasers, pepper spray only twice, went back to using hands on technique, that includes knees, feet, hands, fists, forehead and elbow. The idea is no playing, take him, keep him down, cuff him, game over, exercise control at all times, just know how to articulate about use of force. The longer you play, the more chances of somebody getting hurt.

I like how the cars keep creeping up on the scene in an attempt to pass the fight - a**hole drivers!

I don't think rubber bullets (as mentioned by others) would have been practical given that there were hundreds of innocent people around.

When someone is fleeing, it is easiest and safest to push the person from behind.
