I can see all kinds of problems with this item. I get that it's designed to launch a dose of OC at a longer distance to minimize cross contamination.

But that means you have to have a significant amount of force to propel it any distance.

I could see all kinds of problems with it, the major one being that it is unusable at close range.

Cops have way too many tools on their belts as it is now without adding more choices - choices (which tool to use for a given situation) which many times must be made in seconds.

That looks like it would blind a person perminantly at close range.
