Dashcam Video Clears New Jersey Officer of Wrongdoing During Traffic Stop

During the traffic stop, officers broke out the passenger side window of Cephas' car and pulled him physically from the vehicle. Cephas contacted local and national media and, because this was shortly after the shooting of Michael Brown, the media pounced on the story. More Here.

Blame youtube. This guy watched way too much cop block and thinks all encounters with police officers can be handeled by keeping his window up and asking them if he was being detained.

Glad the officer's were absolutely professional about this stop and had the film to back them up. More "good cops vs bad guys" videos should make their way out to disspell many of the ideas people have lately about law enforcement's tactics.

Cephas is a jerk who does not want to take responsibility for his own actions. Good job officers, too bad a police officer's word is not worth salt these days, we have to rely on video. Chris is right, if found to file a false complaint, they need to go after them either criminally or civilly.

Outstanding Job North Brunswick PD Officers! It only goes to show how difficult our job can be when everyone jumps on the "bandwagon" of fools & liars to get the police into trouble.

The suspect appears to be high on something with his wild behavior. The car driver escalated the situation into an arrest all by himself. Worst thing he would have gotten was two tickets but obviously he had something else he was worried about (Pot in the car) and he caused the escalation himself. The Police Officer did a great job by trying the easy approach first and the suspect forced the situation to evolve.

i hate how he's uncooperative and then shoots a video claiming he's being harassed, how many times are you told to roll down your window? it's good that we have cams in the cars now to stop this nonsense from happening again and having good officers fear that they could be facing police brutality by doing their jobs.
