who really cares that this clown who was not searched yet obviously involved in a long carried out act of resisting got cracked on the head? he deserved it and a lot more! What is this coming to? the media fuels all the negative crap and I believe all suspects in such cases should go live with the reporter who covered the case bringing such to our attention as this circus clown getting a crack on the head. by the way I am a 30 year vet officer retired and I am disgusted that another so called officer criticized these officers; are you sure they are not cadet officers? or from a 3rd world country and you bribed them for an opinion?

THERE'S NO WINNING IF YOUR A POLICE OFFICER. THIS POS PUT THE LIVES OF NUMEROUS KIDS AT RISK ,BUT ALL THE MEDIA CAN COMMENT ON IS AN OFFICER STRIKING HIM IN THE HEAD WHEN HE RESISTED BEING ARRESTED AND TAKEN OUT OF HIS CAR WINDOW. FROM THE VIDEO YOU CAN TELL HE WAS NOT INJURED.

Jimmy @ 5/29/2015 5:42 AM

Thank you Fort Worth PD...you did a great job and that pit maneuver was classic...anyone that criticizes this operation is more than likely a person who never once put their life in jeopardy for someone else.

Trigger @ 5/29/2015 7:43 AM

On the head, I must have missed something as it is not clear in the video, howabout a strike on the arm or back, maybe the idiot was holding onto the door post and would not let go. No matter what you do questions will be asked.

Steve Foster @ 5/29/2015 8:26 AM

Mr. Anchorman, you can't see what squat of what he was striking. I believe he was striking his hands, the hands that was obviously holding onto the door so he could not be pulled out. Your assumption that he was struck in the head is crap, you did this so you can gin up some hatred toward the police, who I might add, you would be the first to call if you stupid ass was in a bind on that same highway.

Kojack58 @ 5/29/2015 11:26 AM

2 lbs of drugs what else did he have. A record probably as long as your leg for other offenses probably with weapons. He utilized his vehicle s a weapon. Like the other officers stated he deserved the one stroke to immobilize him as he was resisting. If you noticed he only did it once and the suspect stoppd resisting.

DEADMAN @ 6/2/2015 6:59 PM

Can you cite the reporters for lying ,interfering, getting in the way, being an obstruction, violating a police barricade, being a fool/tool?

kevCopAz @ 6/2/2015 7:25 PM

oh read the next issue, the cops driving and another officer in the "tank" were both disciplined for doing a PIT! The move was "not authorized". what a load of crap! The officer did what he needed to do, ended the chase nobody was killed or in cured, this Police department needs to take its head out of its rear end! The cop is a hero, man they wonder why cops are stopping doping anything to stop criminals, lets just answer calls and let the citizens be victimized, they get what they ask for, to hell with them!

S.S. @ 6/3/2015 7:47 AM

All of these so-called "policy makers", need to seriously step down. They haven't a clue as to what we go through on a daily basis. SWAT stands for "special weapons, and tactics." That was a tactic that worked well. Perfect is the word I would use. The p.o.s. is off the street, so are 2 lbs of drugs and who knows what else. Good job to those officers involved. To the a**holes that criticize these officers of the job they did well...f**k you!
