Fired, are you serious. The deceased got in an aggressive stance with a knife. If he had run toward the officers he stood a good chance of stabbing one of them. Fire him and I hope he sues the department and the city.

This officer tried to defuse the situation. He kept telling the man to drop the knife. You did not know whether he had a gun or not. He threw objects at the police car and you are going to fire the officer. You need to fire the Chief for not backing his department. We are going to end up with street justice everywhere unless you start backing up your officers.

Looks like the Department wants to sacrifice the officer{s} to please the public. It looks like a good shoot from what I saw. They tried more so than many would. A number of bystanders could have been hurt.
