Georgia Deputy Shot in the Face, Suspect Denied Bond

A Harris County, GA, Sheriff's deputy was shot in the head early Saturday evening during a traffic stop. He is in much-improved condition but still in the hospital after surgery. More Here.

The first concerns should go to the officer. He may lose his eve sight, and career. Second, is, only 10K bond? This is not assist, if someone shots at an armed police officer, it should be attempted murder! 3. Regarding, back-ups; every young infantryman know never to take point w/o his protection. It has returned back to military ops in urban terrain (MOUT). Regardless of the conflict or country, "If we forget the past, we risk the future". All prayers that he will recover and be able to continue in his family life.
